I am an Aunt of 7 and just wanted to say that the best way of getting an older child to accept a new baby (at least for us) was to let them do some shopping for the new baby. Maybe he can pick out some stuffed animals or some wall decorations. Perhaps even picking out a picture of himself or the family for the baby to look at will give him a big-brother feeling.

Good luck!
